The superior performance of the JH rotary check valve stems from its precise balance of rotational torque and optimized flow path. The valve disc employs an asymmetric counterweight design based on hydrodynamic calculations, enabling full opening at media flow velocities ≥0.8 m/s, and smoothly rotating back to close as the flow velocity decreases, relying on its own weight and an auxiliary spring (if equipped). The core sealing technology lies in the conical-plane or spherical-conical sealing pair design. Through precision-machined sealing surfaces, a tight fit is achieved under the valve disc’s own weight and media backflow pressure, realizing an API 598 Class IV seal. For large-diameter applications, the dual-disc structure ensures synchronized movement of the two valve discs via a central torsion shaft and synchronizing rod. Combined with a streamlined short valve body (compliant with API 594 short-size dimensions), it achieves extreme compactness while maintaining functionality. For harsh operating conditions, optional Stellite hard alloy sealing surface overlay or flexible graphite-reinforced metal sealing rings ensure long-lasting sealing life under high-temperature, abrasive, or slightly particulate media.
The key components are subjected to ultra-hard surface strengthening, which is specially designed for extreme wear conditions such as coal slurry and mineral slurry, as well as slurry containing particles, thus doubling the service life.
