Your Leading Oxygen Valve Manufacturer in China
JiangHeng oxygen valve has the characteristics of low fluid resistance, smooth flow channel, rapid opening and closing, and easy automatic control, so it has been more and more widely used in steel, metallurgy, medicine and chemical industries. After years of hard work, JiangHeng has successfully developed a full range of oxygen gate valves, ball valves, butterfly valves, double-valve check valves, globe valves, etc.
JiangHeng oxygen valve is an important valve in the coal chemical process unit, which is installed in the oxygen supply circuit of the burner to cut off the preheated oxygen and oxygen-steam mixture. Its working temperature can reach up to 450°C, and the working pressure can reach up to 5.5MPa. Oxygen is a strong accelerant, so the leakage level of the valve is required to be Class VI. Under such harsh working conditions, JiangHeng oxygen valve is the best choice.
According to your requirements, JiangHeng can also customize special oxygen valves with rare materials, sizes, sealing surface materials, driving methods, pressure sizes, colors and other requirements.
JH Valve Manufacturer ISO Class 5 Cleanroom (Class 100) achieves ≤3,520 particles/m³ (≥0.5μm) via HEPA/ULPA filtration and laminar flow control. Integrated with 100,000-class supporting zones, it creates a particle-free core for semiconductor lithography, vaccine filling, and nano-materials – exceeding ISO 14644 standards for critical process precision.
FAQ—Industry Oxygen Valve
Oxygen valve is specially designed for high purity oxygen (≥99.5%) , core features:
- Strictly prohibit oil : All parts must be degreased (in accordance with ISO 15001) to avoid explosion caused by grease;
- Anti-static design : The valve stem and valve body are electrically connected to eliminate the risk of static sparks;
- Typical applications : medical oxygen systems, air separation equipment, aerospace fuel supply, metal cutting gas source control.
Key Differences:
- Material compatibility : copper alloy, stainless steel (316L) or Monel alloy is used to avoid oxidation caused by rust;
- Cleanliness level : inner surface Ra≤0.8μm (mirror polishing), no grease residue;
- Fireproof design : The valve seat adopts metal seal (such as nickel-based alloy) to prevent high temperature softening and failure.
Material selection basis:
- Low-pressure medical oxygen : degreased copper alloy (C12200), stainless steel (316L);
- High-pressure industrial oxygen : Monel K500 (corrosion resistant), Inconel 625 (high temperature oxidation resistant);
- Sealing material : PTFE (antistatic treatment required) or nickel-based alloy metal seal.
Mandatory installation requirements:
- Degreasing and cleaning : Use carbon tetrachloride or special solvent to thoroughly degrease before installation;
- Oil-free tools : Use copper or nickel-plated tools and avoid contact with lubricating oil;
- Independent pipeline : Oxygen pipelines must be dedicated to avoid mixing with other gases;
- Grounding measures : The valve body and pipeline are reliably grounded (resistance ≤ 10Ω).
Leakage causes and countermeasures:
- Sealing surface contamination : Degrease again after disassembly and replace the PTFE sealing ring;
- Stem corrosion : Replace the Monel alloy stem to avoid copper green oxidation;
- Emergency treatment : Shut off the gas source immediately and purge the leak area with oil-free nitrogen.
Core Certification:
- CGA G-4.4 : American Compressed Gas Association oxygen valve standard;
- ISO 10524 : Specification for medical oxygen pressure reducing valves;
- ASTM G93 : Oxygen system cleanliness test standard;
- ATEX explosion-proof certification (industrial high concentration oxygen environment).
Main differences:
- Pressure range : Medical valves are usually ≤300psi, industrial valves can reach 6000psi;
- Sealing level : Medical valves require zero leakage (Class VI), industrial valves allow slight leakage (Class IV);
- Material : Medical valves are preferably made of copper alloy (rust-proof), while industrial valves are mostly made of stainless steel.
Maintenance procedures:
- Annual degreasing : Use oil-free solvent to clean the valve cavity and sealing surface;
- Sealing test : Leakage rate is tested every 6 months using a helium mass spectrometer (≤1×10⁻⁶ mbar·L/s);
- Corrosion Inspection : Regularly visually inspect the inner wall of the valve body for oxidation spots.
